Get Involved
There are many ways to support Quilts for Survivors. Volunteer your time, contribute supplies or donations, or help share our work in the community—every bit of support helps us create comfort and care for Survivors.
We want to thank our sponsors for helping Quilts for Survivors continue this work. Your support covers essential costs like materials and supplies, shipping and logistics, and keeping our programs and studio running—so more quilts can be made and gifted to Survivors across Canada.
Because of you, we’re able to expand workshops, welcome volunteers and youth, and ensure quilts reach Survivors with care, respect, and dignity.

Quilt Block Mural – Community Call-Out
Quilts for Survivors is partnering with Golden Butter Murals to create a new outdoor mural made from quilt blocks designed by our community. We invite you to submit a block that reflects your story, culture, healing, or resilience. Selected designs will be brought together into a collective “visual quilt” on the outside of our building.
Use the Quilt Block Mural Worksheet to sketch your idea, then scan and email it to admin@quiltsforsurvivors.ca
, or mail/drop it off at our studio.
Support Our Studio Renovations
Phase One is complete! We’ve finished electrical upgrades and built the new offices on the south side of the studio. Now we’re raising support for the next steps! You can help by donating Home Depot gift cards, building supplies, or materials — or by sponsoring specific rooms or items. Every contribution helps create a more welcoming space for survivors and volunteers.
Welcome to our Volunteer Corner!
Below you’ll find volunteer resources and guides, including step-by-step instructions for sending a quilt, how to request a name and address, current QFS volunteer projects, Quilt Canada challenges, QFS block patterns, and more.
